Demonstration Showcase - Measuring Behavior
Because of the focus on new methods and techniques, Measuring Behavior
has a special program element in which prototypes, inventions and new
products can be showcased. This is in the form of an interactive
demonstration. The following demonstrations are planned:
- Climbing test for automated measurement of vertical activity in mice – Frederico Montechiaro (Ugo Basile)
- The Ethometer – Willem Dekkers (Royal GD)
- DOMEs: deep phenomics in the home cage – Michael Florea (Olden Labs)
- A New Approach to Setting Up Operant Conditioning Experiments – Aishwarya Vishwanathan (Stoelting Europe)
The schedule is available here.
At a Measuring Behavior meeting, you will find yourself among researchers from all fields of behavioral research: behavioral ecologists or neuroscientists, ethologists, developmental psychologists, ergonomists, human factors researchers, movement scientists, psychiatrists, psychophysiologists, toxicologists, usability testers, and others. While the research questions and applications may be highly diverse, what all delegates share is an interest in methods, techniques and tools for the study of behavior.
