Measuring BehaviorWorkshops - Measuring Behavior
Workshops are interactive sessions discussing a relevant topic without formal peer-reviewed presentations. Workshops will not be open to remote participants.
There will be three interactive workshops:
- Measuring the welfare of wild animals — Janire Castellano Bueno (Wild Animal Initiative and Newcastle University) and Vittoria Elliot (Wild Animal Initiative and Smithsonian Institution).
- Certifying Digital Monitoring Technologies – Challenges and Solutions — Christina Umstätter, Thünen Institute of Agricultural Technology.
- Exploring Novel Change Point Analysis in Sports to Other Domains — Dennis Reidsma, Katharina Proksch and Rupsa Basu, University of Twente, The Netherlands.

At a Measuring Behavior meeting, you will find yourself among researchers from all fields of behavioral research: behavioral ecologists or neuroscientists, ethologists, developmental psychologists, ergonomists, human factors researchers, movement scientists, psychiatrists, psychophysiologists, toxicologists, usability testers, and others. While the research questions and applications may be highly diverse, what all delegates share is an interest in methods, techniques and tools for the study of behavior.
