Symposia and workshops

In addition to the posters and oral papers submitted individually, Measuring Behavior also has sessions organized around a particular theme in which the session chair invites the speakers. At MB2018 we distinguish:

  • Symposia: Sessions organized around a specific topic and organized by a symposium chair. The symposium chair and the MB2018 program committee will oversee the paper blind review process and the accepted papers will be presented in the symposium. If you are looking to submit an abstract or short paper for an accepted symposium, see the Submission page for more details. When you submit to EasyChair, you will be able to choose the name of the session.
  • Workshops: Sessions dedicated to hosting interactive discussions about novel topics in Measuring Behavior organized by a workshop chair. Successful workshops typically would be based around a new or disruptive concept or demonstration of new technologies or methodologies. Submissions are especially encouraged from industry and research centers. Workshop presentations are not peer-reviewed and so they are not published in the conference Proceedings.
