Sports Engineering and equipment development is ultimately linked to the measurement of behavior. Whether it is how the equipment interacts with the human body, or how the player perceives the equipment, these aspects are key to equipment design and uptake.

Researchers developing methodological protocols in measuring behavior are invited to submit manuscripts to the Sports Engineering journal, describing original research, review papers or perspective articles.

  • Development of new technologies, software or measurement devices
  • Novel methods to measure equipment-player interactions
  • Novel methods to measure human or animal performance, movement and data
  • Sports and fitness data integration
  • Human perception of equipment
