Paper sessions

There will be three type of paper sessions at Measuring Behavior 2012:

  • General sessions – Oral presentations on a variety of topics related to techniques and methods for measuring behavior, submitted as individual papers. Presentations are normally 15 minutes.

The scientific program committee encourages research to be presented by the scientists who have carried it out. PhD and MSc students qualify for a reduced registration fee and there are a limited number of travel grants available.

  • Special sessions – Oral presentations organized by a session chair who brings together a group of speakers on a particular topic. If you would like to submit a proposal for a special session, please see more information here.

  • Poster sessions – These will be on display for the entire conference and there will be also sessions where the authors will stand next to their posters to discuss them.

To submit a paper to one of those sessions, you should first download the MB 2012 Style Guide (which also contains instructions and template styles) and then when your extended abstact is ready, go to the online submission system.

The deadline for submission is 1 April 2012.
