CALL FOR SPECIAL SESSIONS AND WORKSHOPS

The Scientific Program Committee now invites you to submit proposals for Special Sessions and Workshops.

Take this opportunity to present new methods, techniques, and tools to an interdisciplinary scientific community or discuss how to standardize and optimize existing practices. Topics related to any aspects of methods for the measurement of human and animal behavior are welcome.

Special Sessions

Measuring Behavior Special Sessions consist of a series of scientific presentations around a common theme, related to the general theme of measuring behavior.

In previous conferences these special sessions (or symposia) have included topics such as ‘automatic facial expression analysis’, ‘automation of observing and analyzing rodent behavior’, and ‘measuring meeting behavior’.

Workshops

Workshops are interactive discussions about specific aspects of measuring techniques. Workshops are a forum where the multidisciplinary nature of Measuring Behavior can be a big advantage.

Deadlines

Deadline for submission of special sessions and workshop proposals is 5 January 2012. Deadline for submission of abstracts of the individual speakers is 16 April 2012.

These deadlines will not be extended.
